Shawn Fonteno is the name of the real guy who voices Franklin in Grand Theft Auto V. He keeps a pretty low profile online, despite being so well-known, but recently he talked with fans about what it's like working with Rockstar Games.

Making fun of Rockstar for milking all they can from GTA 5 while eternally delaying GTA 6 is probably the most overused video game joke right now.

Shawn responded to this by saying it just takes a long time to make these games any good, and that coronavirus definitely put a damper on the timeline.

Unfortunately this doesn't bring us any closer to the next GTA installment, so thanks for nothing, Franklin.
